Special Event- Applying for a Letter of No Objection
The Letter of No Objection is issued for Special Events where alcoholic beverages are sold or are supplied as part of a general admission. The Letter of No Objection grants permission to the applicant to sell alcoholic beverages during the Special Event. An applicant should begin the application 14 days prior to the event. Once the Letter of No Objection is written, the applicant must use it to apply for the Louisiana State Special Event Permit.
NOTE: The Letter of No Objection is only required for events where alcohol will be SOLD. No Letter of No Objection is needed if alcohol is being given away as part of a private event, wedding, etc.
At this time, we are not accepting any 'Letter of No Objection' applications
