The mission of the G.I.S. Mapping System is to provide a central system of integrated graphical and statistical data, including the Parish Intranet website, and to manage GIS workflow for participating agencies of the parish to effectively manage physical assets and geographically dependent data. This division has the responsibility to manage projects with outside agencies or consultants involving the use of GIS and to provide geography to selected features.
