The Terrebonne Parish Health Unit will be celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month by hosting a Hispanic Family Health Day. There will be several resources and health screenings available. Appointments are encouraged but not required.

The Howl-O-Ween Dog Parade and Festival is a family fun event for man’s best friend. Join us for the
parade, contests, music, food, and refreshments. Awards will be presented for the best costume, best
dog/owner look alike, largest/smallest dog, best dog trick, and howling contest. The event is free to the public and dog owners may make a donation to the Kiwanis Club of Houma Foundation. The proceeds support projects of the Kiwanis Club of Houma and will benefit many students and members of our community. Registration and information is available at www.kiwanishouma.com.
