Description: Apache Corporation is pleased to announce that they are donating 200 trees in celebration of Arbor Day 2018. Some of the trees expected to be available for the Give Away are Magnolia, Eagleston, Buttonbush, Southern Crabapple, White Oak, Bald Cypress, Willow Oak, Southern Live Oak, Sweet Pecan, American Sweet Gum and Sycamore.

Apache Corporation also donated saplings and seedlings of various varieties including Bald Cypress, Pond Cypress, Laurel Oak and Swamp Chestnut Oak.

There is a limit of two container saplings per household to be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis, so come early to assure your choice of various Louisiana native seedlings and saplings.

Description: Add your memories of Grand Caillou and Dulac and help build a shared local history through the Dulac Branch's Community History Project!

The library is seeking anyone who has (or knows someone who has) stories or photos of past life in the Grand Caillou and Dulac areas to contribute.

Stories will be recorded for the project at 11:30 am every Wednesday in February. Photos are welcome for scanning and copying anytime during business hours. Social media users can also post their photos online and simply tag the library.
