With two stages rocking all day and night, we bring the best music from the southern region to downtown Houma, Louisiana. Throw in delicious Cajun cuisine, unique handmade arts and crafts, classic car show, fun for the kids, and much more and you’ve got a recipe for festival fun unlike anywhere else. Buy your tickets to the festival early and SAVE BIG! Visit the Best of the Bayou webpage to view the lineup and pre-purchase your tickets! A portion of our proceeds will fund grants for high school music departments in Terrebonne Parish. We are excited to be able to give back to local young musicians through our festival.

Description: All regular meetings of the CZMRAC are scheduled for the first Tuesday of each month and are held in the Terrebonne Parish Council Meeting Room on the 2nd Floor of Government Tower at 8026 Main Street, in Houma. Meeting dates are subject to change at the discretion of the CZMRAC to allow for a quorum of members present in order to constitute an official meeting. Meeting dates are advertised in the Courier (official Parish Journal) a week prior to each meeting, and are also posted on the Public Notice Bulletin Boards located outside the doors of the Terrebonne Parish Council Meeting Room.

Description: The Rougarou Fest is a family-friendly festival with a spooky flair that celebrates the rich folklore that exists along the bayous of Southeast Louisiana. It is also the primary fundraiser supporting the South Louisiana Wetlands Discovery Center, a nonprofit, tax exempt organization, that is revolutionizing how we think, teach and learn about Louisiana’s disappearing coast. USA Today recently ranked the Rougarou Fest as one of the Top 10 Best Costume Parties in the United States, the Southeast Tourism Society selected the Rougarou Fest as a Top 20 Event during the month of October out of eleven states in the southeast United States, and the Louisiana Association of Fairs and Festivals awarded the Rougarou Fest with New Event of the Year in 2016.
