Throw in delicious Cajun cuisine, unique handmade arts and crafts, classic car show, fun for the kids, and much more and you’ve got a recipe for festival fun unlike anywhere else. A portion of our proceeds will fund grants for high school music departments in Terrebonne Parish. We are excited to be able to give back to local young musicians through our festival.

Description: Keep Terrebonne Beautiful has successfully competed for a grant from Keep America Beautiful and Lowe’s to develop a community garden. This community garden is proposed to be located in Montegut on Kennedy Street. The preliminary plan in the grant assumed that Louisiana Sweet oranges, satsumas, figs, lemons and pecans would be planted on a portion of the site. The rest would be dedicated to vegetables. The meeting is being held to recruit volunteers and get involvement from local community members in the development of the garden. Come help design the garden!

Description: All regular meetings of the CZMRAC are scheduled for the first Tuesday of each month and are held in the Terrebonne Parish Council Meeting Room on the 2nd Floor of Government Tower at 8026 Main Street, in Houma. Meeting dates are subject to change at the discretion of the CZMRAC to allow for a quorum of members present in order to constitute an official meeting. Meeting dates are advertised in the Courier (official Parish Journal) a week prior to each meeting, and are also posted on the Public Notice Bulletin Boards located outside the doors of the Terrebonne Parish Council Meeting Room.
