The South Louisiana Wetlands Discovery Center will host its 9th annual celebration of World Wetlands Day at the Bayou Terrebonne Waterlife Museum. The Wetlands Discovery Center's celebration seeks to raise public awareness of the value and benefits of wetlands overall and to the region. This educational event will include hands-on activities and a tour of the of the museum.

Children 12 and under are invited to participate, and all are invited to attend. No motorized floats are allowed. Come out and participate in Houma's 43rd Annual Over and Under Tunnel Run! The event will feature food, drinks, and live music in addition to the 5K run over the twin spans and through the tunnel.
