Facilities and Services

The marina provides shore power, fresh water, and pump-out/dump-out stations with a Marina Master to facilitate mooring, access to utilities, and general information for the traveler.

Fuel service, both diesel and gasoline, are located a short distance from the Marina on the GIWW. Restaurants, shops, banking facilities, legal services, emergency and extended care medical services, churches, museums, and tourist information are located in historic downtown Houma, all within easy walking distance of the Marina and public transit service is available during the week.

The Downtown Marina's landscaped park offers a comfortable place to relax and enjoy the scenic and busy GIWW. The adjacent walking track is perfect for those wishing to stretch those "sea legs."

The Marina is within walking distance to restaurants serving some of the best seafood and steaks on the Gulf coast, shops featuring a variety of goods, and museums offering exhibits showcasing our rich cultural heritage in Houma's beautiful Downtown Historic District.

The Downtown Marina is strictly for transient recreation boaters. No commercial vessels allowed.

  • Marina operates 24 hours a day
