As a part of the National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, the Houma Police Department will be collecting unused or expired prescription medications. Collection will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 27, 2018, in front of the Houma Police Station in the command unit, 500 Honduras St, Houma.

The National Prescription Drug Take Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing prescription drugs while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications.
