Last week the Terrebonne Parish Council postponed its committee and council meetings due to the threat of Hurricane Laura.

A public hearing was scheduled last week to discuss revisions to Chapter 6, Article VI of the Terrebonne Parish Code, which was suspended pending revisions by the Council. The suspension of Chapter 6, Article VI would have expired Monday, August 31, 2020.

The order continues the suspension through Wednesday, September 30, 2020, to allow the Council time to reschedule a public hearing and take a vote on the amendments to the Code.
