People of all ages are invited to the second annual Terrebonne Games Expo from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on June 24, 2018, at the Main Library. The Terrebonne Games Expo will feature a wide variety of board games, card games, retro video games, and mammoth games. Some of the featured mammoth games are life-sized Dominoes, Snakes and Ladders, Tic-Tac-Toe, and Jenga.

Several vendors will be available for gaming demos as well, including Go4 Games, who will be demonstrating a game called Hero Clix, and End of Turn Games, who will be demonstrating a Final Fantasy Card Game. Gamers Paradise will also be available with a demo of the Star Wars Destiny game and Splendor.

“Gaming is such a great way to come together and spend quality time,” says TGE coordinator and youth services librarian Naomi Magola. “The Expo also gives folks a chance to try their hand at some new games and maybe discover a new favorite or two.” All skill levels are welcome as volunteers will be at the ready to guide participants with any games that may be unfamiliar to them.

Cosplay is not required to attend the event but is encouraged for those who wish to dress up in costume. Terrebonne Games Expo is free and open to the public.
