The Terrebonne Parish Department of Housing & Human Services Community Development Division is proposing a substantial amendment to its Program Year 2008 Annual Action Plan. On February 17, 2009, the U.S. Congress passed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). As a result, Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government has received an allocation of Community Development Block Grant-Recovery funds in the amount of $331,797.00. Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government is proposing utilization of funds to supplement its current Housing Rehabilitation/Replacement Program.

Citizens are hereby given an opportunity to comment on these changes to the 2008 Annual Action Plan. All comments concerning the Amendment will be considered prior to being submitted to HUD. Comments will be accepted beginning Tuesday, May 19, 2009 through Monday, May 25, 2009. Written comments shall be submitted in writing to kcunningham@tpcg.org or the following address:
