Terrebonne Economic Development Authority (TEDA) is partnering with local business organizations to offer the following events on Thursday, September 27, 2018: 

• College and Career Fair: Terrebonne Parish juniors are invited to learn about career and college opportunities from 8:45 to 11 a.m. at the Houma-Terrebonne Civic Center, 346 Civic Center Blvd., Houma. All juniors must register at gotocollegefairs.com before the event, and choose LACRAO 9/5/2018-11/30/2018. Print out the assigned barcode to bring with you to the fair. Interested Companies can reserve a table by calling Pam Mayet at 985-851-1163, by September 21.
• Celebrate a Women's Advocate: The Women's Business Alliance's annual Athena Award honors someone in the community who has supported and promoted women. Register now for the awards luncheon. The luncheon will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Holiday Inn, 1800 Martin Luther King Blvd., Houma. Tickets are $30. To register, go to the WBA Houma website or email info@wbahouma.org. 
• Cyber Security Seminar: Learn how to prepare for and protect against cyber security threats from 1 to 4 p.m. in room 152 of NSU's Betsy Cheramie Ayo Hall, at the corner of Audubon Ave. and Ardoyne Rd., Thibodaux. Regulations discussed will include HIPAA for healthcare, PCI for credit card payments, and FERPA for educational providers. Tickets are $25 each with a $5 discount for four or more tickets.
