Parish President Gordon Dove is pleased to make the following announcements regarding the TPCG Government Tower:

New Barrow Street Entrance

Effective Monday, February 11, 2019, the Barrow Street door to Government Tower will be open to the public. This new entrance includes an adjacent wheelchair ramp, making it more accessible to all visitors. Signs will be in place to direct visitors to Customer Service and the elevator lobby. All visitors wishing to access the elevator must go through the metal detector and be screened by security personnel.

The existing entrances from Gabasse Street and Main Street will remain open. Hours of operation will remain the same, with all doors to Government Tower opening at 8 am and closing at 4:30 pm. Customer Service will be open to accept utility payments from 8 am to 4 pm.

Barrow Street Parking Lot Updates

The Barrow Street parking lot will be undergoing layout changes to benefit the visitors of Government Tower, specifically our elderly and handicapped citizens, expectant mothers, and veterans. In the upcoming weeks, the parking lot will be pressure washed and restriped to include the following parking spaces:

• (3) van-accessible handicap spaces
• (3) handicap spaces
• (4) handicap/elderly spaces
• (2) spaces for veterans
• (1) space for expectant mothers
