Keep Terrebonne Beautiful Hosts Electronics Waste Recycling Collection Sept. 7

Keep Terrebonne Beautiful will host an Electronics Waste Recycling Collection, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, September 7, 2019, at the Busy Bee Clinic, 122 New Orleans Blvd., Houma.

A wide range of electronics will be accepted, including: computers, telephone systems, gaming consoles, DVD’s, and other office equipment. Capital Area Corporate Recycling Council makes disposing of these devices environmentally safe while keeping your data safe in the process. See the full list of accepted items.

Dr. Brenda Leroux Babin, Keep Terrebonne Beautiful Board President, says “We are excited to offer this opportunity to the community because recycling the waste from electronics saves space in the landfills and prevents environmental pollution from the toxins in the electronic components.”

Keep Terrebonne Beautiful is a non-profit organization established in 2000 whose mission is to empower the citizens of Terrebonne Parish to take personal responsibility to prevent litter and beautify the parish. Together we can assist citizens in becoming stewards of their communities.
