Join the Rougarou Pack and Volunteer for the Festival

The South Louisiana Wetlands Discovery Center could not produce such a spectacular festival without a dream team of amazing volunteers. Most of the volunteers come from down the bayou, but there are also a few honorary Cajuns from as far as Chicago and New York City.

Volunteers prepare and sell food and drinks, organize the parade, help with the bands, sell tickets, organize the costume contest, pick up trash, and the list goes on. Volunteer shifts are broken down into two hours, but the Rougarou pack gets really excited when volunteers work multiple shifts.

Please consider volunteering for the Rougarou Fest this year on October 26 and 27. To volunteer, visit signup.com.

If you have any questions, please email Samantha Hicks at shicks@slwdc.org or call 985-580-7289.
