In order to help prevent the spread of coronavirus in Terrebonne Parish, a Parish-wide curfew has been jointly implemented by Terrebonne Parish President Gordon Dove, Terrebonne Parish Sheriff Jerry Larpenter, and Houma Police Chief Dana Coleman, beginning April 1, 2020, from 10PM till 5AM and will remain in effect daily until further notice.

The 7th Annual Bayou Beer Festival will be held Saturday, November 9, 2019, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Southdown Plantation, 1208 Museum Drive.
This event is for adults 21 and over and will showcase two ounce samples of craft beers from around the world. Tickets are $35 and include 40 sample vouchers and a sampling cup. Click here to purchase tickets. Non-drinkers may still attend the event without purchasing a ticket, but they must show their ID upon entry.
The event will kick off at 11 a.m. with a 21-Gun Salute, The National Anthem, and the Pledge of Allegiance. Live music will be performed by Nathan Plumbar and Steady Steppin' and Nonc Nu and the Wild Matous.
