See What Your Local Library Has to Offer This November

Visit your local library this month. Exciting activities are scheduled at each library branch all month. Check out the list below for a few highlights from each location. 

Bourg Library

  • Monday, Nov 4, 3 to 4 p.m. National Candy Day. Candy Kabobs Workshop. PreK - 4th Grade.
  • Tuesday, Nov 5, 4 to 5 p.m. National Doughnut Day. Doughnut Lip Balm Workshop. 5th-12th grade.

Chauvin Library

East Houma Library

  • Wednesday, Nov 13, 6 to 7 p.m. College Night. Jamie Billiot with TPSD will provide information on various topics including FAFSA and financial aid, college admission requirements, dual enrollment, and more. 
  • Monday, Nov 18, 2 to 3 p.m. National Princess Day Story Time. Dress up as your favorite princess/prince and join us for story time!

  • Monday, Nov 11, 7 to 8 p.m. Intro to Microsoft Word. Learn the basics of Microsoft Word.
  • Saturday, Nov 16, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. ACT Practice Test. Take a computer based ACT Practice test and get immediate feedback to improve your future test scores.

Montegut Library

  • Wednesday, Nov 6, 4 to 5 p.m. Lego Club.
