The Friends of the Terrebonne Public Library announce their annual Spelling Bee, to be hosted on Saturday, November 2, 2019, at the Main Library .

Levels for the Spelling Bee are divided by grade for school-aged children. The Friends also host an open competition for teens and adults. Levels and times are as follows:

• Level 1: 1^{st -} 2^nd Grade at 9:30 a.m.
• Level 2: 3^rd - 4^th Grade at 11:00 a.m.
• Level 3: 5^th - 6^th Grade at 1:00 p.m.
• Open Competition: 2:00 p.m.

To participate in levels 1-3, patrons must pay $1, open competitors $2. All proceeds go towards library resources and services. The Friends of the Library do not provide a list of Spelling Bee words prior to competition. Registration is not required.
