There is a strong potential that the Houma Navigational Canal (Bubba Dove) flood gate will be closed by the Terrebonne Parish Levee and Conservation District after 4:00 p.m. on Friday, October 25, 2019, due to the anticipated development of Tropical Depression Seventeen. The closure will restrict access to Houma and the GIWW from Terrebonne Bay/GOM. Anticipated closure of the floodgate will last from 4:00 p.m. Friday, October 25, 2019 to 7:00 a.m. Saturday, October 26, 2019.
