Children’s Water Safety Awareness will host its 3rd Annual Pastalaya on the Bayou Cook-Off from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 2, 2019, at the Houma Courthouse Square. 

Come enjoy all-you-can-eat pastalaya, live music, craft vendors, carnival-style games for kids, and more. The entry fee is $5 per person, and free for children 5 and under.

Individuals can also sign up their child for free swimming and CPR lessons and/or the Life Jacket 4 Life program. Come early as we only have a limited number of coast guard approved life jackets available at this time.

Children’s Water Safety Awareness is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Houma, LA that promotes water safety to all in the community. Directly representing four families from this area that have lost a loved one to a drowning incident, they have sponsored free swimming lessons to over 100 children in the Houma/Thibodaux area, as well as hosted free CPR lessons for over 50 parents and family members.
