The Houma Municipal Auditorium, located at 800 Verrett Street in Houma, will be available as an evacuation shelter beginning 10AM on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 for those residents who have evacuated from low-lying areas of the parish. Evacuees should bring sufficient food, water, bedding, baby formula, and other necessary personal items to last 3 days. If transportation is needed to the shelter, please call (985) 873-6357 to arrange pick-up after 10AM on Wednesday. Household pets brought to the Houma Municipal Auditorium will be registered with the Terrebonne Parish Animal Shelter and kept there until reunited with owners.
Government Tower Lobby Closed; Temporary Procedures in Place for Payments/Services

In an effort to limit face-to-face contact and stop the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), the TPCG Government Tower will be closed to visitors until further notice. During this time, our drive-thru lanes (lanes 2 and 3), located in the Gabasse Street parking garage, will be accepting all forms, payments, applications, etc. that were being accepted at the teller windows in the customer service lobby. This includes:
Gas and/or electric utility payments
Gas and/or electric utility service setup
Gas and/or electric utility service disconnections
TPCG invoice/statement payments
Security light applications
Average/levelized billing applications
E-bill applications for gas and/or electric utilities
Authorization form to designate another person to manage a utility account
Bank draft applications
Gas line installations
Drive-thru lane 4 will be accepting trade and building permit applications and payments. To apply online, visit tpcg.org/permits/apply.
Additionally, the drive-thru lanes (lanes 2 and 3) and the drop-box (lane 1) will serve as a drop-off location for payments and documents for other TPCG departments; however, customers must be aware that payments for these transactions will not be processed immediately and no receipts or change can be given. These items will be delivered to the appropriate department where they will be processed accordingly.

Utility Drop-Box: Located in the Gabasse Street parking garage, lane 1. Do not leave cash in the drop-box.

Online thru myTPCG.org: Pay and sign up for bank draft for gas/electric utilities and TPCG invoices only. Have your bill or invoice handy.
