TPCG Offers New Feature to Report Debris and Trash

Wednesday March 17, 2010 02:56 pm - 2965 Views

Terrebonne Parish President Michel Claudet is pleased to announce a new feature to Terrebonne Parish’s website (www.tpcg.org). This new tool, introduced by the parish Solid Waste Department, allows for residents to report roadside trash and debris via the internet. This innovative and user friendly system makes it possible for residents to anonymously report the location of concentrated trash such as tree limbs, abandoned tires, and appliances. Depending on the volume of reports, the Solid Waste Department will dispatch crews within 3 business days to address problem areas. In addition to this new service, residents can still contact the Solid Waste Department at (985) 873-6739 to report areas of concern or to schedule the pickup of used appliances or debris. "We are determined to make Terrebonne Parish a model for community beautification; the availability of this new reporting system provides another tool to combat unsightly litter and garbage in our community," stated Terrebonne Parish President Michel Claudet. # # # Click here to send a report.
