TPAS Partners with Finding Rover for Pet Recovery and Adoptions

The Terrebonne Parish Animal Shelter (TPAS) joins the ranks of shelters using facial recognition technology to identify lost dogs and cats. TPAS now offers the community an additional tool to help lost and adoptable dogs and cats find their homes.

Now, every dog and cat that enters the Terrebonne Parish Animal Shelter system becomes registered on Finding Rover. Users of Finding Rover can search the shelter and surrounding areas right from their smartphone or computer in efforts to find their missing pet, a neighbor’s missing pet, the family of a found pet, or search for adoptable pets.

Finding Rover offers a FREE lifetime registration and sign up is simple at FindingRover.com.

“When a beloved member of the family goes missing, it is heartbreaking. We are thrilled that the partnership with Finding Rover will give us another tool to aid in reunification of people and their pets.”--- Valerie Robinson, Animal Shelter Manager.

In addition to helping lost pets find home, Finding Rover also features dogs and cats that are available for adoption! You can view the Terrebonne Parish Animal Shelter’s found and adoptable pets with just a click on our Facebook page and on our website at tpcg.org/animalshelter.

Pet owners are encouraged to register for FREE on Finding Rover today and help spread the word.
