The Good Earth Transit Bus System services are suspended effective immediately (Monday, February 15, 2021) and will remain closed until further notice. It is presumed that this closure will remain in effect through Tuesday, February 16, 2021. Terrebonne Parish garbage services scheduled for Tuesday, February 16, 2021 will also be suspended. Regular pickup will resume on Wednesday, February 17, 2021.

Please remember to wrap pipes, cover plants, and bring pets indoors. Residents are encouraged to stay off roads, drip faucets (the one farthest from your water meter), and be extremely careful of space and portable heaters. 

Please note: Terrebonne Parish will not be issuing a curfew of any sort for weather issues. Please keep in touch with local news/media sources for any ice-related closures on State Highways. Should anyone have to get out, please be careful when travelling on all roads.
