SBP Offering Free Disaster Preparedness Webinars

SBP (Saint Bernard Project) is a national disaster recovery and resilience non-profit organization dedicated to shrinking the time between disaster and recovery by reducing risk, increasing resilience, and improving the recovery process by transforming the disaster sector's systems, policies, and programs. SBP's Prepare Program aims to better equip households, businesses, local officials, and NGOs with the knowledge and capacity to make informed disaster preparedness decisions and build more disaster-resilient communities. 

SBP is offering free webinars that focus on providing the knowledge and skills needed to help protect individuals and families from the effects of natural disasters. 

The Getting Your Household Prepared for Hurricanes and Flooding webinar will be available on the following dates:

  • Wednesday, March 29, 2023 from 1-2 p.m.
  • Thursday, April 20, 2023 from 4-5 p.m.
  • Wednesday, May 17, 2023 from 1-2 p.m.
  • Thursday, June 15, 2023 from 1-2 p.m.

The Household Disaster Preparedness Series is a two-part webinar series that will be offered on the following dates: 

  • Part 1: Making a Household Plan - Wednesday, May 3, 2023 from 1-2 p.m.
  • Part 2: Protecting Your Home - Wednesday, May 24, 2023 from 1-2 p.m.

Registration for webinars is required. Register for an upcoming webinar on SBP's website.
