The next CERT training sessions are scheduled for October 14, 15, 21, and 22. These sessions will be held at the Living Word Church located at 1916 Highway 311 in Schriever and are slated to run from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. CERT Team Members learn how to help out in emergencies. Subjects covered include: fire safety, emergency medical operations, search and rescue, etc. In order to be a full member of the team, you need to attend all 4 classes. However, if you can’t attend all 4 classes in this training session, you can make up any missed classes in future training sessions in February and July.
