The Terrebonne Parish Animal Shelter is excited to announce that the shelter will offer FREE spay/neuter for all cats (owned, stray, feral). This offer is made possible due to a grant from PETCO Foundation. Our goal is to reduce the cat population in our community by spaying/neutering 1,000 cats during this promotion.

Appointments must be made at the Terrebonne Parish Animal Shelter at 100 Government St. Gray, LA, or by mailing in the forms found on the Animal Shelter website. Appointments are available now and can be made in person Monday – Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Appointments cannot be made over the phone. This offer is only available while grant funds are available.

The cats will be spayed/neutered through our existing spay/neuter program which provides transportation of the animals to and from the LA/SPCA’s Wellness Clinic on the day of the appointment. Animals are loaded at 6:30 a.m. and are picked up the same afternoon of the appointment day. Traps are available to loan for feral cats at no cost.
