Hurricane Nate Update (10/7 9:45a)

Terrebonne Parish is currently under a Hurricane Watch and a Storm Surge Warning. Parish officials have cancelled the curfew order for Terrebonne Parish due to the current forecasts from the National Hurricane Center and the National Weather Service in New Orleans. Parish officials are urging residents to limit travel throughout the Parish during nighttime hours due to the possibility of strong wind gusts. Residents are also being asked to avoid traveling on flooded roadways.

Residents should continue to stay informed through local news media, the Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government website (tpcg.org), and the Terrebonne Parish Office of Homeland Security website (tohsep.com), Facebook page (facebook.com/TerrebonneParishOHSEP) and Twitter page (@TOHSEP) to obtain the latest information available.
