Terrebonne Parish's Multiyear Implementation Plan for Coastal Restoration Use of RESTORE Act Funding has been accepted by the Department of the Treasury, and the Parish can begin submitting applications for funding of activities outlined in the plan.

In the plan, the Parish proposes using its initial allocation of RESTORE Act funding (Direct Component), RESTORE Act Spill Component funds from the State of Louisiana, as well as dedicated local funds for the North Lake Boudreaux Forced Drainage/Flood Risk Reduction Project. In addition, Terrebonne Parish is proposing to use a very small portion of subsequent years RESTORE Act (Direct Component) allocations to fund a Water Management Workforce Development Program through Fletcher Technical Community College. These projects and the parish’s proposed use of funds are described in detail in the MYIP.

The RESTORE Act is also know as Resources and Ecosystems Sustainability, Tourist Opportunities, and Revived Economies of the Gulf Coast States Act.
