The 2018 Rougarou Fest queen will be selected during this year’s Rougarou Ball to be held 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday, May 5, 2018, at the Houma Municipal Auditorium, 880 Verret St., Houma.

Creative teams will present their queen contestant dressed in a “Swamp Thing” theme during the ball where judges will crown the 2018 Rougarou Fest Queen. Tickets for the ball are $50 per person with proceeds supporting the South Louisiana Wetlands Discovery Center.

There will be food, drinks, a live and silent auction, and live music. Guests are asked to wear their best Swamp Chic attire. It’s cocktail attire with a flair that only South Louisiana can bring.
