The Terrebonne Parish Animal Shelter is excited to announce that the shelter will offer adoptions for $14.00 from February 9, 2018 to February 14, 2018. The adoption promotion is set around the theme You Can’t Buy Love, But You Can Adopt It for $14 in honor of Valentine’s Day.

The shelter will be open for adoptions on Lundi Gras, Monday, February 12, 2018, from 10:00am to 2:00pm. The shelter will not be open for intake on that day. The shelter will be closed on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 for Mardi Gras but will reopen on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 from 9:00am to 5:00pm. It is with great anticipation that by offering a reduced price for adoptions that more pets can find homes. Dozens of animals are currently available for adoption at the Terrebonne Parish Animal Shelter. Pictures of some of the adoptable animals can be found on the shelter’s Facebook page and Petfinder.com.

Adopted animals are provided with the following:

• health exam
• vaccinations
• dewormer
• appropriate testing
• microchip (including registration)
• spay/neuter
• 1 mo. supply of flea prevention
• 1 mo. supply of heartworm prevention (dogs)
• starter bag of Hill's Science Diet food
