Changes to Paddle Down Da Bayou Schedule Due To Severe Weather Threat

Due to the threat of severe weather, the following changes have been made to the Paddle Down Da Bayou schedule:

  • The crawfish boil and t-shirt/registration packet pickup will remain as scheduled for Saturday, April 7, 2018 at the Little Caillou Volunteer Fire Department pavilion. Packet pickup will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by the crawfish boil at 11:00 a.m. There will be music and door prizes as scheduled. Participants may drop in anytime between 10:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
  • The paddle trip will be rescheduled for Saturday, April 14, 2018. The time and starting location will remain the same, 8:00 a.m. at the LLMAP camp launch site in Chauvin. Breakfast will be served as scheduled, but no meal will be served after the trip. New paddlers may register at the launch site for $10.

No refunds will be given for the crawfish or t-shirts. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled paddle trip, you may request a $10 refund (and an additional $15 refund if you rented a kayak), donate it, or send someone in your place.
