Terrebonne Parish is pleased to announce that a comprehensive offering of the MGoConnect online permit and inspection software.  The software will greatly enhance the permit application submittal and payment experience for contractors and residents. 

In all, contractors and residents will have the ability to:

  • Apply Online for Permits
  • Pay Fees Online
  • Submit Plans “Paperless” in PDF Format
  • Track Application Progress up to Permit Issuance
  • Print Copies of Your Permit(s) Any Time
  • Print Copies of Reviewed “Stamped” Building Plans
  • Request Inspections Online
  • View and Print Completed Inspection Reports
  • Receive Real-Time E-mail Notifications When an Inspection is Completed

The following permit types are available to apply online:

  1. Certificate of Occupancy/Change of Occupancy
  2. Commercial Construction (New Construction or Renovation)
  3. Fence Permit
  4. Mardi Gras Reviewing Stand
  5. Mobile Retail Food Vendor
  6. Public Property Use
  7. Recreational Vehicle
  8. Residential Accessory Structure
  9. Residential New Construction
  10. Residential Renovation
  11. Sign
  12. Solar Panels
  13. Sound Permit
  14. Trade permits (Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, Gas)
  15. Whole Home Generator

The ability to pay balances online with a credit card is available for all permit types.

You may create your free customer portal account as soon as possible if you do not already have an established account.  The MGoConnect software will allow you to begin applying for your permits online rather than traveling to the permit office.  Please note that any documents required with an application, such as Building Plans, must be uploaded in PDF format when submitting your application.
