A NEW vision for an OLD community park!

Through the Vision 2030: Comprehensive Master Plan Update and various community workshops, the residents of Terrebonne Parish have made it clear that more recreation opportunities are needed. In response, Recreation District 11, as a political subdivision of Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government, teamed with landscape architects, Joseph Furr Design Studios, to develop a master plan for a proposed 56 acre regional park and sports complex.

Additional public outreach and surveys were completed as a part of the master planning efforts for this recreational property. Participants and stakeholders identified outdoor community open space and enhanced rodeo facilities as their main two priorities. The final design reflects these desires and more; it can be found in the executive summary linked below.
