In order to help prevent the spread of coronavirus in Terrebonne Parish, a Parish-wide curfew has been jointly implemented by Terrebonne Parish President Gordon Dove, Terrebonne Parish Sheriff Jerry Larpenter and Houma Police Chief Dana Coleman, beginning April 1, 2020, from 10PM till 5AM and will remain in effect daily until further notice.
Through the Vision 2030: Comprehensive Master Plan Update and various community workshops, the residents of Terrebonne Parish have made it clear that more recreation opportunities are needed. In response, the Parish has teamed with Recreation District 2-3 and landscape architects, Joseph Furr Design Studios, to develop a master plan for a proposed 140 acre regional park and sports complex.
The master plan and entry road have been completed and the first phase is currently in the design development process. Below are links to both the final master plan public presentation in March 2013 and the Executive Summary booklet.
