Run-off Election on Saturday, December 6, 2014

DEADLINE TO REGISTER TO VOTE: WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 2014

Register to Vote

Visit the Registrar of Voters office to register to vote or submit changes to current registration, including name / address / party affiliation. Voter registration books close 30 days prior to any election.

Visit www.GeauxVote.com where Citizens with a current Louisiana Driver's License may apply for voter registration electronically, while those already registered may review their registration information and apply to update or change if necessary. Voter registration applications are available at Terrebonne Parish public libraries, as well as at the office of the Registrar of Voters.

Early Voting

November 22 through November 29 (each day except Sunday 11/23 and state holidays: Thanksgiving Day (11/27) & Acadian Day (11/28)); 8:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. at the Registrar of Voters Office - now located at Government Tower, Gabasse Street entrance (8026 Main Street, Suite 101, Houma LA).

Election Day Voting

Election Day December 6 (Saturday) - polls open 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Voters are required to present picture identification with signature when voting.
Those requiring assistance in voting must file a Physician's Certificate with Registrar of Voters.

View a sample ballot, review registration / district information, apply to update or change if necessary, subscribe to electronic notifications regarding election events, and / or download a mobile app at www.GeauxVote.com.

Election returns are unofficial at this point but there will be run-offs in some Parish races as well as State races. Check back for specifics.
