Registrar of Voters Announces
Presidential Preference CLOSED Primary
Saturday, March 5, 2016

Election Day Polls open 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM

The primary purpose of this statewide election is for voters of the major parties (Democratic & Republican) to express their preference for a person to be the nominee of the party for President of the United States and to elect members to their state central committee and parish executive committees.

DEADLINE TO REGISTER TO VOTE AND
MAKE ANY CHANGES TO YOUR CURRENT RECORD (i.e. address, party, name)
IS WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 3, 2016


Review sample ballot at www.GeauxVote.com. Sample ballots are posted at the entrance of the Registrar of Voter's Office for Early Voting.

Early Voting

Saturday, February 20 through Saturday, February 27 (each day except Sunday); 8:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. at the Registrar of Voters Office - located at Government Tower, Gabasse Street entrance (8026 Main Street, Suite 101, Houma LA).


Upon entering, voters should be fully prepared to vote and are required to present
picture identification with signature when voting.
Those requiring assistance in voting must file a Physician's Certificate with Registrar of Voters.
