Our Mission

The Electric Distribution Division's mission is to distribute electric supply to connected customers safely, efficiently, and reliably with a focus on customer service satisfaction. Electric service is provided to approximately 13,000 residential and commercial customers within the corporate limits of Houma and in immediate urban areas.

Our Services

Terrebonne Parish Electric Distribution network provides power to the following:

• 13,308 customers
• 2011 retail sales 361,299,191 Kwh
• 2.5 circuit miles of 115 kV transmission
• 22 circuit miles of 34.5 kV sub-transmission
• 129 circuit miles overhead and 94 circuit miles underground distribution
• 11 substations with 23 13.8 kV feeders under SCADA control

 

To report a power outage, please contact (985) 873-6750. This number is monitored by an answering service 24 hours per day.

To specify load needs, print and complete the Customer Load Data Form and deliver or fax to our office.
