White Boot Stroll to be Held in Downtown Houma Saturday, May 15

The White Boot Stroll will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 15 in Downtown Houma. This event will celebrate the best of Terrebonne Parish's arts and culture. Businesses will be paired with local artists and musicians, and streets will be blocked off to allow pedestrians to explore shops and restaurants. The event will also include art installations, photo opportunities, activities for children, and a baby alligator petting station. 

The live music schedule is as follows: 

Belanger Street

  • 11 a.m. - Devin McCarty
  • 1 p.m. - Zac Cheramie
  • 3 p.m. Frank Ball & Mary Beth Landry

Roussell Street

  • 12 to 2 p.m. - Roland Cheramie

Gabasse Street

  • 12 to 2 p.m. - Cajun Preservation Society
  • 3 to 5 p.m. - Pine Leaf Boys

 The White Boot Stroll is a new event hosted by the Bayou Regional Arts Council, Houma Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, and the Houma Downtown Development Corporation.
