Chauvin Fest Set for October 28-29, 2017

The 2017 Chauvin Fest will be Saturday, October 28 and Sunday, October 29 at the Ward 7 Citizens Club, 5056 Hwy. 56, in Chauvin. 

The event will run from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. both days, regardless of weather, and will feature live music, local cuisine, games, and crafts.  

This year's music lineup is headlined by Grammy Award winner Chubby Carrier and Grammy nominee Geno Delafose.

Performance times are:

Saturday, October 28

  • 10:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. -- Nashville South
  • 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. -- Don Rich
  • 5 to 7:45 p.m. -- Moss Country
  • 8 to 10 p.m. -- Geno Delafose

Sunday, October 29

  • 11 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. -- Tet Dur
  • 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. -- Chubby Carrier
  • 4 to 7 p.m. -- Wine Down
  • 8 to 10 p.m. -- Junior Lacrosse

A jambalaya cook-off will be held on Saturday beginning at 7 a.m. Tasting and judging begins at noon. Participation forms can be downloaded from the Terrebonne Advocates for Possibility website
