Warning: Phone Scam Targeting Terrebonne Parish Utility Billing Customers
The Terrebonne Parish Consolidate Government Customer Service Division warns utility billing customers of a phone scam that has recently developed. Utility billing customers have reported receiving phone calls threatening to disconnect utility services if payment is not made immediately. These callers are alleging to work for ENTERGY and/or a third-party representative for TPCG Utility Billings.
The TPCG Utility Billing department does not make phone calls of this nature. If you receive a call of this nature, it is a scam. Do not provide any personal information to the caller.
