Description: : These meetings are the second of two major rounds of community outreach meetings throughout the parish. Information received from last summer’s meetings was used in the development of goals, policies, strategies, and recommendations that citizens will review during the second round of meetings. Based on information received in the spring meetings, the Planning Team will bring a draft of the plan first to the Steering Committee for review, and then to the Houma-Terrebonne Planning Commission for an extended review and public comment period. If revisions to the plan are necessary, they will be made before the plan is adopted by the Planning Commission and sent to the Parish Council for review and acceptance.
