October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The event will honor survivors of Domestic Violence and their families. The vigil is also a time when we remember those who have lost their lives to Domestic Violence. All are welcomed to attend.

A day long Alcohol Free Festival to raise monies for 4 local charities in Houma. All proceeds benefit them. Includes children's activities, games of skills, pony rides, bounce house, hayrides, silent auction, country store and rummage sale, bingo and food booths. Christian bands play all day and music can be enjoyed by all ages. End of day features a drawing for raffle prizes. One need not be present.
A one-day outdoor arts and crafts festival that features vendors from many states who make hand-crafted items for the shoppers' delight. Cajun Cuisine food court; museum tours. Family-friendly festival. Admission: $4 per person, children under 12 free. Additional fees for food, drinks and museum tours.
