Description:
All regular meetings of the CZMRAC are scheduled for the first Tuesday of each month and are held in the Terrebonne Parish Council Meeting Room on the 2nd Floor of Government Tower at 8026 Main Street, in Houma. Meeting dates are subject to change at the discretion of the CZMRAC to allow for a quorum of members present in order to constitute an official meeting.
Meeting dates are advertised in the Courier (official Parish Journal) a week prior to each meeting, and are also posted on the Public Notice Bulletin Boards located outside the doors of the Terrebonne Parish Council Meeting Room.
The third annual Houma Louisiana Wedding Expo presented by Courtyard by Marriott features over seventy of the top wedding vendors in South Louisiana that include venues, decorators, caterers, photographers, fashion, gifts and entertainment exhibitors all under one roof. The event also features on-stage bridal fashion show, product demonstrations, and catering samples.

All volunteers will check in at the location of their choice and cleanup a segment of a bayou. Downtown will host a kayak regatta to do the cleanup. Get a jump-start on spring by joining the Wetlands Discovery Center for the Good Earth Market on Saturday, April 1, 2017, from 9AM to 3PM. The Good Earth Market is a celebration for garden enthusiasts with booth spaces available to vendors from all aspects of the gardening and farming industry. This annual market includes educational workshops on native plants, bee keeping, and raising backyard chickens. Vendors will be selling native plants, vegetables, Louisiana irises, ornamental plants, orchids, roses, fresh eggs, baby chicks, local honey, jams, jellies, sun catchers, and lots more.
Free event includes games, Easter bunny, DJ, face painting, petting zoo, finger painting, and fire truck viewing. Free food items include hot dogs, nachos, popcorn, and drinks.
