The Bayou Region Athletic Hall of Fame Banquet will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on June 29, 2018, at Cypress Columns at 157 Tourist Drive, Gray, LA 70359. Six accomplished athletes either born or educated in Terrebonne, Lafourche, or Assumption Parish and active in their communities will be placed on the TGMC Community Sports Institute's Bayou Region Athletic Wall of Fame. This year's honorees include Ron Estay, Earl Gros, Harold Haydel, Tommy Hodson, Wally Whitehurst, and Larry Wilson. 

Tickets are on sale now. Individual tickets are $50, and a reserved table for 10 people is $500. Banquet proceeds will directly benefit the Foundation for TGMC's drive to purchase a mobile medical clinic/blood mobile.
