ENTERGY 8am update 9/11: Please take a moment to remember lives lost on 9/11 in 2001
Additional Resources:
We are moving crews into the north Terrebonne Parish areas today. (Schriever area between Thibodaux and Gray)
Work Progress:
Yesterday, we repaired 215 poles, 475 spans of down wire, & 213 pieces of damaged equipment. To date, we have repaired 793 poles (23%), 1,410 spans of down wire (38%), and 845 pieces of damaged equipment (59%).
As of this morning, we have restored power to 5,681 customers in Terrebonne Parish. That’s approximately 21% of the Parish.
We had to de-energize a line to make repairs along W. Park from Coteau Rd. south to Kenny St. That area has now been re-energized.
We ran into a few unforeseen challenges when trying to energize 2 feeders out of Gibson Substation. That serves the east bank of Amelia before Hwy 90 crosses the bayou. We plan to energize this area today.
Yesterday, we were able to energize W. Main in Gray from just south of St. Bridget Rd. all the way down to Hwy 90. We also energized parts of Park Ave. from Leboeuf St. to the Carriage Cove neighborhood area.
Below are the areas where we are continuing to work:
Traffic Control:
We will need traffic control on Hwy 24 between Rufus Ct. & Hwy 3040. We will coordinate with law enforcement on that request.
