Amended Boil Water Advisory

Press Release Amended Boil Water Advisory Prepared 03‐22‐12 at 3:00 p.m. Consolidated Waterworks District No. 1 hereby announces that the Boil Water Advisory issued on March 19, 2012, has been lifted for areas along Highway 57 and Highway 3011(Grand Caillou Road) south of the Dulac Elevated Water Tower in Terrebonne Parish. The Boil Water Advisory for Shrimper’s Row south of the Dulac Water Tower is still in effect. The Dulac Elevated WaterTower is located just north of the Buquet (Falgout Canal) Bridge. Residents within the Shrimper’s Row Boil Water Order Advisory area should continue to boil all water intended for consumption for a period of not less than one minute after the water comes to a rolling boil. Water samples will be taken after work is completed on Shrimper’s Row in order to conduct laboratory analysis. This Advisory is being issued as a precautionary measure to insure the safety of all citizens in the designated area. The Waterworks District will notify all customers along Shrimper’s Row as soon as this Boil Water Advisory has been lifted. Thank you for your cooperation. Consolidated Waterworks
