The South Louisiana Wetlands Discovery Center will hold its annual summer camp from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 4-8, June 11-15, and June 18-22 for campers ages 9-12.
Campers will take field trips to exciting wetlands venues and then return to the Bayou Terrebonne Waterlife Museum to discuss their experiences and participate in other fun activities.
Camp activities include swamp tours, lessons on fish anatomy, presentations by wetlands experts, levee tours, a Cajun food fest, crabbing, water safety, USDA Sugarcane Research Station Tour, alligator farm tour, and MORE!
Camp tuition is $135 per week and includes ALL field trip costs. There is NO REGISTRATION FEE! Registration for the camp is on a first come, first served basis with only 30 students being accepted per week.
