In order to help prevent the spread of coronavirus in Terrebonne Parish, a Parish-wide curfew has been jointly implemented by Terrebonne Parish President Gordon Dove, Terrebonne Parish Sheriff Jerry Larpenter, and Houma Police Chief Dana Coleman, beginning April 1, 2020, from 10PM till 5AM and will remain in effect daily until further notice.
Pollution Control consists of 42 employees to manage, operate, and maintain your wastewater utility. Pollution Control is divided into Collection and Treatment. Each division is responsible for the operation, maintenance, repair, and replacement of the following:
sewer collection lines
oversees expansion of the wastewater collection system
wastewater treatment facilities
ensuring that all wastewater discharged from parish facilities complies with state permit effluent limitations
